3 Pengantar Ilmu Ekonomi Untuk Bisnis (Introduction to Economics for Business) 3 1 This course discusses the concepts and economic indicators such as economic growth, inflation, unemployment rate, trade balance and the balance of payments as well as various macroeconomic policies. In addition, students are also expected to be able to explain the concept of economics, consumer behavior in the optimization of economic needs; And producer behavior on production theory and costs as well as market forms and their implications for business decision making. 4 Pengantar Statistika dan Ekonometrika (Introduction to Statistics and Econometrics) 3 1 For statistics: this course provides knowledge that includes the processing and presentation of quantitative data and determines the various descriptive sizes, the determination of the index number, the periodic debit analysis, simple regression and correlation. The concept of probability as well as various discrete and continuous probability distributions (normal distribution). For econometrics:

This course aims to provide basic econometrics knowledge and methods in terms of model testing and economic analysis. This course discusses the concept and application of basic econometrics methods with materials that include among others: the meaning and scope of econometrics; Simple regression; Classical regression assumptions; Multiple regression, estimation and inference; Hypothesis testing; Regression analysis and variance analysis as well as regression with dummy variables. After following this course students are expected to perform econometric testing of various models of econometric equations and forecasting with linear regression models.

After attending lectures in this course students are expected to be able to calculate and interpret some basic functions of statistics and econometrics and can apply it in research and business decision making.

Topics covered include relevant aspects of the capital budget, analysis and interpretation of financial statements, working capital management, and capital structure, leasing and dividend policy. After attending lectures in this course students are expected to perform business financial planning, evaluate project feasibility and analyze health and / or company performance.
6 Manajemen Strategis

3 2 This course aims to form students able to apply knowledge about environmental analysis or strategic situation analysis, strategic planning, strategy implementation and evaluation and control strategy. Through case studies, teaching materials are designed in such a way as to accommodate the interaction and integration of business functions that are integrated and relevant to the strategy. The focus of the subject is oriented toward improving the ability to formulate the choice of functional, business and corporate strategies. After attending lectures in this course students are expected to be able to design the company’s strategy, at least do SWOT analysis and design a company’s value chain to generate competitive advantages. Most importantly students should be able to integrate all phases of environmental analysis or strategic situation analysis, strategic planning, strategy implementation and evaluation and control strategy.

2 Seminar Usulan Riset dan Publikasi

(Research Proposal Seminar and Publication)

2 2 This course is a compulsory course that must be taken before taking the thesis. This course should be taken no later than the second semester (regular) and third semester (executive). Lecture will be held seven face-to-face sessions by directing students to prepare thesis research proposal; Seven face-to-face lecture sessions will be directed to form students to compose papers that will be published in international journals. Students are obliged to discuss thesis research proposal with supervisor lecturer which has been determined by MM FEB Unpad Study Program. The student must record the meeting date and the contents of the guidance with the supervisor. Students must obtain permission to conduct Research Proposal Seminar (SUR) if the content of thesis research proposal has been approved by supervisor. The insertion test session is conducted in the form of a research proposal test that will be conducted at the time set by the MM FEB Unpad Study Program. The final examination session will be conducted in the form of submitting papers to selected international journals and showing evidence of the submitted papers of the selected international journal. The contents of the paper are based on the pre-test results of the thesis research propsal. Students must show letter of acceptance (LOA) and / or printscreen proof send a paper from online web system from international journal manager. Students have the ability: (1) to write a thesis research proposal based on the concentration chosen by the student and (2) to publish a research paper based on the pre-test results from the thesis research proposal to selected international journals

2 Etika Bisnis danTanggung Jawab Sosial Perusahaan (Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility) 2 2 This course discusses the various problems that are caused by the movements made by industrialized countries and the international community that questioned the global environmental issues. This course is informed to discuss the above issues in relation to the long-term corporate sustainability of stockholder strategy and good corporate governance. After attending the courses of this subject, students are expected to be able to explain and identify business ethics issues in relation to the long-term sustainability of the company’s stockholder strategy and good corporate governance.
3 Komunikasi Bisnis Global (Global Business Communication) 2 2 This course discusses business communication. This topic discusses of the issues from a communication network, utilizing information technology, communication patterns in groups, communication distortions, and organizational effectiveness associated with business communications. After attending the courses of this subject, students are expected to be able to explain the options of communication networks, utilizing information technology, communication patterns in groups, communication distortions, and organizational effectiveness associated with business communications.
4 Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) dan E-Bisnis (Management Information System and E-Business) 2 2 This course discusses the skills that required in the process of analysis, planning and implementation of the Management Information System (MIS), as the most important organizational effectiveness and control subsystem. The topics covered include system concepts, MIS basic frameworks, various office subsystems, decision support systems, electronic data processing and mastery of some programs. After attending the courses of this subject, students are expected to be able to create architectural design of business processes, mind mapping and work-flow of certain business functions such as marketing, finance, HRM.
5 Analisis Laporan Keuangan Bisnis (Business Financial Report Analysis) 2 2 This course discusses the concepts, techniques, analytical tools and corporate performance appraisal based on information presented in depth of the financial statements. In addition, students are expected to understand the adjustments needed to improve the quality of the information presented by the financial statements and use the financial statements to assess the implementation of corporate strategy and to solve the problems faced in the business world. After attending the courses of this, students are expected to be able to explain the analysis and assessment of company performance based on the information presented in the financial statements
6 Hukum Komersial dan Perpajakan (Commercial Law and Tax) 2 2 This course discusses legal issues that are inherent in business transactions that take place in everyday economics life intended to provide knowledge about various aspects of Indonesian law relevant to the business world. Taxation strategy is given to the initial condition of investment business. The issues discussed include, among other things, the applicable business law principles in Indonesia, the legal forms and effects of business entities, trade contracts, agency and labor law.Taxation Strategies related to real investments and investments in capital markets, consideration of developments in taxation accounting including depreciation and amortization, wage tax and tax contributions. After attending the courses of this subject, students are expected to be able to explain the inherent legal issues in business transactions and the legal forms and effects of business entities, trade contracts, agency and labor law.
7 Pemodelan Bisnis (Business Modeling) 2 2 This course discusses various types of management models in improving the effectiveness of a business. The management models include: the balance scorecard, benchmarking, business proces redesign, the capability materity model, etc. The course also conveys some knowledge about the perspective and process of business dynamics, System dynamics, modeling process, Systematic thinking tools, growth dynamics and tools for modeling dynamics systems. After attending the courses of this subject, students are expected to be able to design the management models include: the balance scorecard, benchmarking, business proces redesign, the capability materity model.
8 Manajemen Jasa (Service Management) 2 2 This course provides knowledge, abilities and skills to apply various concepts related to business services both commercial and noncommercial in particular the process of planning, controlling and managerial decision-making related to the service provider organization’s environment. The topics covered in service management include service concepts, the basic framework of the service business, the quality of services, the analysis of the service quality gap and its measurement from an organization engaged in services. After attending the courses of this subject, students are expected to be able to design service quality improvement of a service provider’s organization.
9 Perilaku Keorganisasian (organizational Behaviour) 2 2 This course covers Organizational Structure and Organizational Behavior. Discussion of Organizational Structure and Behavior is intended to provide the knowledge, skills and the skills that necessary to manage productive cooperation through the division of tasks, delegation of authority and coordination so that the flow of work run smoothly, regularly and synergetically. The topics covered include the analysis and grouping of work, centralization and decentralization, the influence and adaptation of the environment, work flow, organizational structure planning, individual and group behavior, leadership styles, group dynamics, intercultural communications and etc. After attending the courses of this subject, students are expected to be able to design the organizational structure of a company. 10 Filsafat Ilmu (Philosophy of Science)     Science as a positive science needs to be guided normatively in the finding for knowledge and its relevance to human beings capable of knowing, reasoning, and results. Topics covered include: the historical development of philosophy and science including empirical science; Anatomy of science; Deductive and inductive reasoning.The main domains of philosophy in the form of ontology, epistemology and axiology will address the relationship between philosophy, science, and methodology (methods and techniques) and similarities and differences between natural science and the social sciences-humanity. After attending the courses of this subject, students are expected to be able to explain and distinguish about ontology, epistimology and axiology, science concept as positive and normative knowledge in search or mastery of science (the finding for knowledge).
